BO CSA (Community Supported Agrigulture)

The CSA is a farming model that seeks to retore the relationship betwen people and their food supply.

Blades Orchard started CSA in 2009.  

Through membership, the shareholder helps sustain the farmer during the "off-season" when we are busy pruning, starting plantings, beginning the growing season.  The farmer then supplies the shareholder with a bounty of freshly harvested vegetables and fruit each week throughout the growing season.

CSA farms are a cooperative effort by farmers and shareholders to build a sustainable food system based on a socially and environmentally responsible business model.

Blades Orchard offers two seasons of CSA.  Summer, Autumn, or both.  We begin in June and end in November each year.  You can join for the Summer (12 wees) or Autumn (12 weeks), or both.

Fruit Only Share Membership has 8-10 lbs of fruit every week. Fruit Share is offered from June - November.

We offer multiple pick-up locations.  You will be presented a list when you submit a subscription form. 

You can choose Salisbury, Annapolis, Easton, St. Michaels, or Federalsburg.
